Summary: | A penniless man wanders the streets of Cap-Haitien, Haiti, dreaming of his imaginary kingdom. When he is run out of town, he hides in the ruins of the Sans Souci palace. While there, he is able to re-create his imaginary kingdom, until his fall from power.
