Description
Summary: | Sven, a young German, decides to do his civil service at the former Auschwitz concentration camp. In the course of interacting with the local townspeople, and caring for an Auschwitz survivor, Krzemiński, who works at the camp, Sven feels the push and pull of conflicting sensations, learns compassion for Krzemiński, and comes to a troubling, challenging realization about his own role in preserving the memory of this place.
