B.J. Cassin, a member of the Holy Cross Class of 1955, has been a venture capital investor for 30 years. He co-founded the Fortune 500 company Xidex Corporation and is on the board of four other private companies. In 2000, he founded the Cassin Educational Initiative Foundation (CEIF), which makes grants to private, faith-based schools that serve low-income, high-risk students.
The Thomas More Lecture on Faith, Work and Civic Life honors a graduate of Holy Cross who exemplifies the College's dedication to the integration of faith and learning.
