| Summary: | Araceli is the live-in maid at the residence of the prominent Torres-Thompson family and one of three Mexican employees on the premises. She is also the last employee standing when the recession takes its toll on the family's resources. One day, Araceli awakes to find the husband and wife have disappeared, leaving their two boys. With the boys' parents unreachable, it's up to Araceli to care for them, so she takes them on a journey through sprawling Los Angeles to locate their grandfather.
