| Summary: | This book constitutes the thoroughly refereed post-workshop proceedings of nine international workshops held in Milan, Italy, in conjunction with the 6th International Conference on Business Process Management, BPM 2008, in September 2008. The 63 revised full papers presented were carefully reviewed and selected from numerous submissions. In addition to the well-established workshops on Business Process Design (BPD 2008), Business Process Intelligence (BPI 2008), Collaborative Business Processes (CBP 2008), Process-Oriented Information Systems in Healthcare (ProHealth 2008), and Advances in Semantics for Web Services (semantics4ws 2008), there were four new 4 workshops on emerging areas: Business Process Management and Social Software (BPMS2 2008), Model-Driven Engineering for Business Process Management (MDE4BPM 2008), Process Management for Highly Dynamic and Pervasive Scenarios (PM4HDPS 2008), and QoS of Self-Healing Web Services (QSWS 2008).
