Time and the Verb : a Guide to Tense and Aspect.

Tense and aspect, linguistic markers signifying relations in time, have been peculiarly resistant to linguistic classification and explanation. The aim of this study is to enable students, teachers and scholars to understand the use of verb forms in particular languages.
