Sumario:Exercise is Medicine: Is There a Toxic Dose? provides a detailed review of the potential risks and downsides of engaging in exercise. The video explains why it is appropriate, as it would be for any type of medicine, to be aware of the possible adverse events and toxicities attendant to exercise. In that regard, the video also points out that the on-target and off-target adverse events that exercisers may experience are affected by several measures, including the individuals' risk factors, their preconditioning level, their medication interaction(s), and environmental factors. In addition, the video discusses potential steps (mechanisms) for reducing the level of toxicity.
