She stars alongside an ensemble of favorite Met artists, including tenor Jerry Hadley as the idealistic poet Lenski and bass Nicolai Ghiaurov as Tatiana's dignified husband, Prince Gremin. And, having made his Met debut only days earlier, Russian baritone Sergei Leiferkus completes the cast as the self-assured title character, who discovers too late his great love for Tatiana.
