Summary: | Timeblazers Jen and Sam travel back in time with Alex to help him get the big picture about time and history. First Alex learns that dinosaurs existed about 63 million years before the first primitive people appeared on Earth. They jump to the Paleolithic age to see cavemen. The first civilizations began around 8000 BC after humans started farming; then the Egyptians brought great structures like the Pyramids around 3100 BC. Ancient Greece developed around 750 BC, establishing the foundation of western culture; then the Roman Empire flourished from about 27 BC to 476 AD. The Middle Ages were from 500 to 1400; society has evolved at a more rapid pace since the Renaissance.
