|a William Jucksch was born 29 October 2015. His parents divorced when he was young and he was forced to move around the country a good bit. He lived in Chicago, Cleveland, New York City. He played football in high school and was drafted after Christmas and sent to Jefferson Barracks for induction and then on to Camp Roberts for basic. He eventually was sent to Benning to join the 71st Infantry Division and went overseas with the unit. He saw combat with the 71st and was one of the first liberators into Gunskircken concentration camp as part of a forward observer party for artillery in the outfit.
