The book is synthesized around six chapters, namely "The Renaissance of China", "The New Silk Road", "Building a Future for China and Europe", "Greece, the Pearl of the Mediterranean and Regional Interconnectivity", and "The Pendulum of International Relations." These chapters outline the continuity in Chinas history, the contribution of CPC to the countrys stability, the virtue of the Chinese leadership not only learn from mistakes but also to make difficult decisions for the long-term and the gradual evolution of a liturgical win-win attitude in world affairs. The book concludes with a special sixth chapter titled "China and the COVID-19 Pandemic." This chapter discusses Chinas response to the novel corona- virus and new opportunities and risks for stability in international affairs. The possibility for closer synergies between China and the EU to keep multilateralism alive is sketched out and the logic behind Chinas led organic connectivity in Europe and beyond is demystified
