Description
Summary:Hunting and fishing remain, as millennia ago, the main activities of the economy and culture of the Inuit of West Greenland. We accompanied men and women from the Sisimiut region on seal and caribou hunting and cod fishing. They explain to us how they conceive of the hostile Arctic land in which they live and how close and important their current relationship with animals is. Worthy heirs of their ancestors, they are among the last representatives of the hunter-gatherer tradition that still exist on our planet.
