|a Indictment for the murder of Angus Campbell who was stabbed with a knife. Question over whether the testimony of a negro, called Woodel, given against the prisoner should be allowed. The prisoner was also of negro blood. Prisoner found guilty by the jury. Supreme Court judge reversed the verdict because there was conflicting testimony and the previous judge had not clearly and properly stated his reasons for allowing Woodel's testimony.
