Frances's husband, Moses Knight, took delivery of Grace, who subsequently had a son, Bob. A judgment was executed against Knight in the lifetime of his wife and Bob, then fourteen years old, was sold by the sheriff; this suit was then brought by all those having an interest in Bob. The defendant, Leak, claimed Bob by a sale for [dollars] 313.25 from the sheriff and offered the bill of sale in evidence. The judge instructed the jury that the only title sold at the sale was that of Moses Knight, which was an interest merely for life. The Supreme Court agreed with this conclusion. Judgment affirmed.
