Enclosed is a Nov. 18, 1883, letter from Guicharel, a Sulpician, at San Carlos (presumably San Carlos Indian Reservation), Arizona Territory, to Zach, regarding the difficulties involved in claiming and returning American and Mexican children held captive by the Apaches.
