| Summary: | The collection contains 36 sketches done mostly in pencil along with a few pen and watercolor drawings. Bollaert's sketches primarily depict local scenes and the geology of eastern Texas. They include the Alamo Church, the President's house in Austin, Mission San José y San Miguel de Aguayo, Galveston's waterfront, Comanche arms, and Bollaert's residence in Montgomery, Texas.
