List, September 8, 1748, of the losses incurred two years earlier by John Hawks, commander of Fort Massachusetts at East Hoosac (now Adams), Mass., and Moses Scott, a soldier there, when the garrison was captured and burned by a force of French and Indians commanded by the Marquis de Vaudreui.
