February 10, 1712/13, circular letter from the commissioners of the society, addressed to Josiah Cotton, a Plymouth, Mass., teacher, missionary, and town official, who for nearly forty years (dismissed 1744) received an annual stipend of twenty pounds for his preaching to the Indians.
